Luquillo Puerto Rico

Luquillo, a beach town on the Northeast coast of Puerto Rico. With easy access to San Juan, the Yunque Rainforest, beaches and surfing, it is an ideal destination. A short walk from the Luquillo Plaza is the surfing beach, La Pared. Balneario Beach is in Luquillo and is one of the most popular beaches in Puerto Rico. Playa Azul, nearby, is a great snorkeling beach. Costa Azul is a beautiful sandy beach with coral reefs and beautiful tropical fish. A short walk away is also the beach “La Selva” a famous surfing beach.

Luquillo is only 30 minutes from San Juan Airport. With an average temperature of 78 degrees and the eastern trade winds the climate is beautiful. In Luquillo there are lounges, casinos, golf, museums, and of course the Yunque Rain Forest. You can watch whales from the El Faro Lighthouse and Museum during the winter months. Local fisherman sell fresh fish at the wharf. Blue Marlin fishing on local boats is great.
